Este artículo analiza desde una aproximación performativa la formación de topografías emocionales en relación a los castros de la Segunda Edad del Hierro (siglos II-I a. C.) en el noroeste de Iberia. En particular, explora cómo los individuos, al incardinarse con diversos tipos de formas y prácticas materiales e iconográficas, fueron afectados emocionalmente de un modo que ayudó a estructurar la realidad social de las comunidades locales. Al examinar la manera en que los individuos se relacionaron con este mundo material, podemos trazar la creación de una nueva estrategia sociomaterial de resistencia, que fue crucial para gestionar sentimientos tales como la ansiedad, consecuencia de la presencia de Roma en la región.
