Continuity and Transformation in the Hispano-Roman Cities of the Second Century AD: The Trajanic and Hadrianic Phase (98–138 AD) Diego Romero Vera
Abstract
Through the analysis of the archaeological and epigraphic record from a large group of Hispanic cities, we conducted a comprehensive examination of the evolution and transformation of urban centers in the second century AD.
This review has allowed us to establish most of these cities lived a period of expansion under the rule of Trajan and Hadrian.
