- Dr. Pedro A. Carretero Poblete, an outstanding researcher at the National University of Chimborazo, Riobamba, Ecuador, has won the 2023 International Archaelogy Award from the journal Arqueología Iberoamericana for his fruitful scientific contribution to the Ecuadorian archaeology.

- Dr. Avtandil Gogichaishvili, an outstanding researcher at the Institute of Geophysics of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, has won the 2022 International Archaeometry Award from the journal Arqueología Iberoamericana for his fruitful scientific contribution to the archaeomagnetic study of the pre-Hispanic cultural heritage of America.
